PINC stands for People. Ideas. Nature. Community.

It’s more than an acronym – it’s the foundation of everything we do. Each event, talk, and gathering is designed to spark new ways of thinking around these four pillars, with the goal of positioning Sarasota as the Capital of Creativity.

The purpose of PINC is to inspire, connect, and challenge Sarasota through creativity. By bringing together People, Ideas, Nature, and Community, PINC creates experiences that spark imagination, deepen connections, and position Sarasota as the Capital of Creativity.

From global speakers to local voices, from intimate dinners to block parties, PINC exists to turn inspiration into action – and to make creativity the heartbeat of our city.

PINC is a full-day experience featuring 11 thought-provoking speakers from across disciplines. The program unfolds in four segments, with intermezzos and breaks designed for conversation and connection. Along the way, you’ll enjoy breakfast, lunch, and a closing reception – each an opportunity to engage more personally with speakers and fellow attendees. The day concludes with an afterparty at The Sarasota Modern, where inspiration carries into the evening in true PINC style.

We don’t release the speaker schedule in advance. Part of the magic of PINC is experiencing the day together as it unfolds. We encourage all attendees to plan on staying for the full program – every moment is designed to surprise and inspire.

Absolutely. Your PINC Experience includes breakfast, lunch, and a closing reception – all thoughtfully curated to complement a day of ideas, inspiration, and connection. And when the program ends, the celebration continues with an afterparty at The Sarasota Modern, complete with food, drinks, and plenty of conversation.

The PINC Experience takes place at the historic Sarasota Opera House (61 N Pineapple Ave, Sarasota, FL 34236).

After the program, join us for the PINC Afterparty at The Sarasota Modern in the Rosemary Art & Design District. The following evening, the PINC Ideas Dinner is also hosted in the Rosemary District – bringing the conversation back into the heart of Sarasota’s creative community.

Yes – PINC is open to individuals of all ages. We believe in the power of diverse perspectives, and everyone is welcome to join us. Our youngest attendee was just 6 years old when he first spent the day with us. Today, he’s 15 – and still part of the PINC community. Some parents even take their kids out of school to experience the day together – a chance to be inspired by ideas, creativity, and connection in a way classrooms can’t always capture.

Parking is available at the Palm Avenue Garage, located directly behind the Sarasota Opera House at 1289 N Palm Ave, Sarasota, FL 34236. From there, it’s just a short walk to the entrance.

The PINC Book Exchange is one of our favorite traditions. Bring a book that’s meaningful to you, write a personal note inside, and wrap it creatively. In the morning, place it on the book table. At the end of the day, you’ll pick up a different book – a thoughtful gift from another attendee. It’s a simple, beautiful way to share stories and leave with new ones.

The PINC Ideas Dinner is an intimate evening that follows the PINC Experience. Over the years, it has stretched into Sarasota’s longest table and gathered into the most intimate round table – always with the same purpose: to connect our city to the world through meaningful conversation. Thought-leaders, creatives, and changemakers come together to share ideas, build relationships, and spark action. It's a separately ticketed event.
