PINC’s powerful past.
This year marks the 11th anniversary of PINC in Sarasota – a milestone shaped by risk-taking, resilience, and a community that believes in the power of creativity.
What began in 2014 as a bold experiment has grown into something larger than a single day. Through ups and downs, testing and perfecting, countless hours of work, and moments that have moved us to laughter and tears, PINC has evolved into a year-round movement dedicated to sparking imagination and building connection.
At its heart, PINC is a celebration of People, Ideas, Nature, and Community. From world-class speakers on the stage of the Sarasota Opera House, to intimate dinners and citywide festivals, to monthly gatherings where local voices shine, PINC continues to be Sarasota’s stage for inspiration.
The Sarasota community has been with us from the very beginning – partners, attendees, volunteers, and dreamers who took a chance on something magical. Eleven years later, that spirit is stronger than ever.
This year, we invite you to celebrate not just 11 years of PINC, but the future we’re building together – one where Sarasota claims its place as the Capital of Creativity.
The Ringling Connection
Since the beginning, we’ve worked with the Ringling College Design Center to design everything you see the day of PINC, from the posters on the walls to the programs in your hands.
Each year, we give them one rule (and one rule only): the design must be green, black, and white. Then, we set the students free, allowing them to use their brilliant minds to create something spectacular.
With special thanks to Dr. Larry R. Thompson, the President of Ringling College, and Jennifer Mumford and Holly Antoszewski of the Design Center.
Without your guidance, none of this would be possible.

The History of PINC
After 20 years in the Netherlands, DreamLarge brought PINC to Sarasota. Since its inception, PINC has inspired global audiences with unexpected surprises and mesmerizing storytelling.
In 2014, PINC Sarasota premiered to a sold-out audience at Florida Studio Theatre. Only two years later, the event moved to the historic Sarasota Opera House to accommodate the high demand for tickets. Since its debut, PINC has cemented its reputation as Sarasota’s must-attend event of the season and the most creative day in town.
